Technical information about accessibility

This service is partially compliant with the relevant accessibility requirements under WCAG.

Limitations in older parts of the service

Some parts of the ticket sales flow are not fully compliant with WCAG. These parts were developed before the summer of 2025, before Nortic's current requirements and processes for accessible development were fully established.

On 28 June 2025, the Act (2023:254) on the Accessibility of Certain Products and Services entered into force. The law is based on the EU Accessibility Act and means that certain products and services offered to consumers must meet accessibility requirements. For digital services, this means among other things that users should be able to access information, navigate, understand, and use the service regardless of functional ability.

From the summer of 2025, Nortic has applied an updated approach where WCAG requirements are included in requirements, development, testing, and review of new features. New features and larger redesigns are therefore developed with WCAG support from the start.

The remaining issues are mainly in older components and flows within ticket sales. These are addressed gradually based on user impact, technical complexity, and the planned further development of the platform.

Known accessibility issues

The issues mainly concern older parts of the ticket sales flow and certain types of content published by organizers or external parties.

We are aware of the following issues:

  • Some parts of the service can be difficult to use with screen readers.
  • Some functions can be difficult to use using only a keyboard.
  • Some texts, buttons, or interface elements may have insufficient contrast.
  • Some error messages and instructions may be unclear or not presented in an accessible way.
  • Documents, images, or content published by organizers or external parties may have accessibility issues.

We continuously work to identify, prioritize, and fix accessibility issues.

How we assessed accessibility

We have carried out an internal assessment of accessibility in Ticket Sales (tickets.nortic.se).

The assessment is based on:

  • manual review of key user flows,
  • automated tests,
  • keyboard navigation testing,
  • review of contrast, forms, and error messages.

Responsibility split

Nortic is responsible for the technical platform and the standard features provided in the service.

Organizers and other content owners are responsible for the content they publish themselves, such as event text, images, documents, and external links.
